I try to learn as much as I can about my clients, before making reccomendations to them about their financial life. Once we have a clear picture of our clients goals, we can attack them together, one at a time.
Clarity of vision is what leads to success. If we know what we are trying to accomplish, and why we are trying to accomplish that goal, we have a much better chance of getting there.
