My goal as an insurance professional is to demystify insurance for my clients, so at the end of the information gathering process, they can make the right decisions for themselves, based on their needs and time table, not mine. 

Insurance is a difficult product to understand.  My clients are intelligent people.  It is simply a matter of teaching them the detail that goes into insurance in a way that makes sense, for them to armed with the information to make these decisions correctly for themselves.

No one likes to be sold, whether you are a financial genius, or Joe Lunchbucket.  By educating, not selling, my clients and I both win in the end.  They have what they want, and why, and I have an educated client.
